I have an email saying it requires a pin? ATO smartdocs

New tax agent legislation means that we need to employ additional security measures whenever we email you correspondence about your tax affairs.

This is to help keep your highly sensitive personal information as private and secure as possible. When we email you correspondence about your tax affairs with sensitive information, you’ll receive an email and you will also receive an SMS with a security pin that you’ll need to access the link within the email.

If you receive an email and no SMS please contact our office as we may not have your correct mobile number and will need to update this for you. If you receive an SMS and no email, it is best to first check your spam and junk folders. If the email is not there please contact our office so that we can ensure we have your correct email address.
