Most business owners I know are terrific at uncovering their prospects’ needs but find the sale part of the meeting icky.

One of the simplest tools to make the sales process easier is a Business Profile – a short document you can physically use during your meeting to address the key areas your prospects really want to understand before doing business with you.

Visually it looks great, and you look professional, but – and here’s the cool bit – it’s also an easy sales tool.

These are the 6 main questions your prospects definitely want answered before they do business with you, so you want to be sure you answer them in your first meeting (regardless of whether they ask them or not).

  • Who are you and what do you stand for?
  • What do you do?
  • What can I expect from you?
  • How do you operate?
  • What do you charge?
  • What level of commitment will you make to me?

One of our Hendrie Group partners has created a step-by-step training video on crafting your own business profile. It includes a copy of our Business Profile template and step-by-step instructions on how to write your very own. By the end of the session, you’ll have your first draft written.
