The MYOB Portal is a smart collaboration tool that helps The Hendrie Group work closely with you to ensure your documents are securely stored online for your convenience. This tool allows us to share completed documents with you, electronically sign them, and keep them for your reference. You don’t need to take action on setting up your access until we send you an invitation.

When it’s time to set things up you will receive an email from your advisor inviting you to connect with them in a secure online space. Once you receive an invitation email:

  1. Click the appropriate Sign in button to use your existing MYOB account or your Google account.

2. Click the appropriate Sign in button to use your existing MYOB account or your Google account.

3. Enter your username and password, then press Enter. The portal is displayed.

4. If you’ve been given access to more than one collaborative portal, select the one you want from the list on the left. Your chosen portal is highlighted, so you know which one you’re in at any time.

5. The Tasks page displays enabling you to view any tasks that your advisor has given to you to action.

How do I access my portal directly without using the link in an email?

We have a link on the front page of our website if you ever need to quickly access the portal and you don’t have an email handy. You can also save the link to your bookmarks or favourites https://thehendriegroup.portal.accountants/login

 

Unable to login to the Portal

If you’re having trouble logging in to the Portal, check the following:

  • Check if you’ve already signed up. If you have, you’ll see a message saying xxxx@gmail already exists.
  • Make sure you’ve cleared your browser’s cache and then try logging in to the portal. This is as simple as clearing your browser history using the settings in your browser.
  • Try logging in to the Portal using a different browser such as firefox if you are using chrome.
  • Try resetting your password using the option on the login page. By clicking ‘Forgotten your password?’ you can enter your email address and recover your account.

 

The web pages are blank, or no information displays

Are you using the latest version of a supported browser?

  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Apple Safari.

Please use one of the listed browsers or upgrade your existing browser to the latest version.

 

Error message: Sorry, but it seems you failed to authenticate…

If you’re getting a message to check your credentials, you’re probably accessing your Portal using an email address that is different to the one that your advisor is using for you.

Check the email invitation you received from your advisor. This email has the address that your advisor is using for the collaborative Portal.

If the email address on the invitation is incorrect, let your advisor know and they’ll re-send the invitation with the correct email.

 

Why don’t I see anything when I log into my portal?

When you first access your collaborative Portal, the Tasks page is displayed. You might not see anything in this view if your accountant hasn’t created a task for you to action. Simply click the Documents tab to view your documents.

 

Why do I get an error message when I upload documents for my accountant?

You may be trying to upload a file that’s bigger than 100 MB.
